When I heard the national allowance was $65., yeah, right $65. a month it was a shock! $780 a yr., buy me an ipod.

According to a national survey by the American Institute of CPAs, Eighty-nine percent expect their children to work at least one hour a week. On average, children put in 6.2 hours per week on chores.

Almost half the parents with kids in school also pay for good grades. The average going rate for an A is $16.60.

That's the national survey, my survey asking around work revealed that most don't give their kids an allowance. Some give allotted amounts for certain chores and others just say their kids are lazy. What's do you think's fair?
